Shirshendu Sinha, M.B.B.S., M.D., is a board-certified general adult and addictions psychiatrist. His clinical focus includes:

• Expertise in management of addictive disorders, such as alcohol use disorder
• Complex coordination of care and assessment of emotional, behavioral, and psychosocial aspects of organ transplantation
• Providing comprehensive assessment of mental health and substance use disorders in patients with other complex medical conditions
• Dr. Sinha serves as Enterprise Chair, Transplant Psychosocial Work Group, Mayo clinic and Medical Director, Transplant Psychiatry and Psychology, Mayo Clinic Arizona. He also serves as Associate Clerkship Director for psychiatry, Site Director (Arizona), Mayo Clinic Rochester Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship, Section Education Coordinator, Psychiatry Education Activities, Mayo Clinic Arizona Internal Medicine Residency Program and Education Liaison for Addictions for the department of Psychiatry and Psychology in Arizona.
• As the Medical Director for Transplant Psychiatry & Psychology at Mayo Clinic (Arizona) and Enterprise Chair of the Transplant Psychosocial Work Group, Dr. Sinha leads strategic initiatives to optimize psychosocial care for transplant patients across the Mayo Clinic enterprise.
