Biographical summary
Dr. Horst focuses on Pediatric and Hospital/Emergency Radiology, with interests in low-dose CT and artificial intelligence. She is the Pediatric Radiology team-lead for the CT Clinical Innovation Center and dedicated to optimizing low-dose CT protocols for research and clinical applications in children. She is actively involved in algorithm development and artificial intelligence applications for pediatric radiology.
Before arriving at the Mayo Clinic, she spent 9 years at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital and Ascension Women's Hospital level IV NICU in Indianapolis. Her clinical experience is the foundation for her commitment to bringing top-tier technology to the front lines of healthcare and greatly inspires her research.
She enjoys teaching and values the opportunity to work with residents.
