Linda M. Tsai, M.D., M.B.A., F.A.C.S is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery and comprehensive ophthalmology at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. Her clinical interests include cataract surgery with advanced technology intraocular lens implantation and comprehensive ophthalmology with the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of medical and surgical eye conditions.

Dr. Tsai completed the Honors Program in Medical Education at Northwestern University, earning both her undergraduate degree in biochemistry and her medical degree. During medical school, she was selected as a Howard Hughes Research Scholar and spent a year conducting research at the National Eye Institute. She completed an internship in internal medicine at Northwestern University and her ophthalmology residency at Washington University School of Medicine. She received her MBA from Olin School of Business in 2023.

Before joining Mayo Clinic, Dr. Tsai spent more than two decades on the faculty of Washington University School of Medicine, where she rose to the rank of Professor of Ophthalmology and currently holds an emeritus position from there. In addition to providing patient care, she has been actively involved in physician education, leadership development, and national ophthalmology organizations. Her academic interests include cataract surgery outcomes, ophthalmic education, physician leadership, and advancing excellence in comprehensive eye care.
