Frank D. Rossi, D.O.

Frank Dominic Rossi, D.O., is a board-certified anesthesiologist joining the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Mayo Clinic Florida. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University in 1996, followed by a surgical internship and anesthesiology residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Dr. Rossi brings more than two decades of experience across military, academic, and private practice settings. He began his career in the U.S. Navy at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Virginia, where he served as Associate Medical Director of Operating Rooms and Division Officer for Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular Anesthesia. During this time, he deployed as a staff anesthesiologist to the Gulf region in the early months of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

After his Navy service, Dr. Rossi practiced at Central Maine Medical Center and later with SSM Health in Madison, Wisconsin, where he served as Chief of Obstetric and Regional Anesthesia. Since 2018, he has been a consultant in Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, Minnesota, where he also established and directed the Community Anesthesia Rotation for anesthesiology residents. His clinical expertise includes trauma, thoracic, vascular, orthopedic, neurosurgical, obstetric, and regional anesthesia.
