Investigación

La investigación sobre el cáncer se realiza en coordinación con el Centro Oncológico de Mayo Clinic. El Centro Oncológico de Mayo Clinic recibe fondos del Instituto Nacional del Cáncer y ha sido designado como centro oncológico integral, en reconocimiento a la excelencia científica y a los recursos multidisciplinarios de una institución dedicada a la prevención, al diagnóstico y al tratamiento del cáncer.

Además, Mayo Clinic es miembro del Grupo de Oncología Pediátrica, un grupo nacional de instituciones dedicado a la investigación del cáncer infantil, y de la National Comprehensive Cancer Network (Red Nacional Integral del Cáncer). Esto permite que Mayo Clinic brinde métodos de diagnóstico y tratamiento de avanzada sobre la base de las últimas investigaciones.
