Kathryn R. Vargas, M.D., PH.D.

Kathryn Rebecca Vargas, M.D., Ph.D., is a board-certified psychiatrist and Senior Associate Consultant in the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. She also holds academic appointments as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine, Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix, and Assistant Professor (Health Sciences Associated Faculty) at Creighton University School of Medicine — Phoenix.

Dr. Vargas has demonstrated a strong commitment to clinical excellence and medical education. Her interdisciplinary training, integrating advanced scientific research with clinical medicine, informs a thoughtful and comprehensive approach to patient care.
