Brittany Snider, D.O.

Brittany Snider, D.O., is a Senior Associate Consultant within the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is board certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Spinal Cord Injury Medicine. Her clinical practice focuses on caring for individuals with spinal cord injury and other neurological conditions, striving to restore and enhance function, optimize overall health, and improve quality of life.

Dr. Snider's research interests include the prevention and management of secondary complications related to spinal cord injury, predictors of neurological recovery, functional and rehabilitation interventions, and neuromodulation.

Dr. Snider has a passion for teaching and advancing the education of medical students, residents, and fellows. She received the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School Department of PM&R Teacher of the Year Award in 2025.

She serves on several national and international committees including the American Spinal Injury Association International Standards Committee, Academy of Spinal Cord Injury Professionals Advocacy Committee, and Association of Academic Physiatrists Medical Student Educators Council.
