Biographical summary
Yael Kusne, M.D., Ph.D., is a board-certified hematologist with expertise in pre-myeloid and myeloid disorders. She is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine. Dr. Kusne completed internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology fellowship training at Mayo Clinic Arizona.
Dr. Kusne's clinical practice focuses on the treatment of patients with pre-myeloid and myeloid disorders including clonal hematopoiesis (CH), clonal cytopenia of undetermined significance (CCUS), myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), and myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN), with particular interests in germline predisposition and bone marrow failure disorders. Her research interests include the progression of pre-myeloid to myeloid disorders as they relate to exposures and germline variants.
