Vanessa L. Kronzer, M.D., M.S.C.I., is a board-certified rheumatologist with expertise in inflammatory arthritis. She is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic School of Medicine.

Dr. Kronzer attended medical school at Washington University if St. Louis, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the Robert Carter Award for top researcher in her class. She then obtained training in internal medicine and subspecialty training in rheumatology at Mayo Clinic, where she received the Phillip S. Hench Award for outstanding clinical, research, and education skills. Dr. Kronzer has also been recognized nationally by the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) as a top performer in both the research and clinical arenas, receiving the prestigious Marshall J. Schiff MD Memorial Research Award in 2021 and the Distinguished Fellow Award in 2023.

Dr. Kronzer's clinical practice focuses on diagnosing and treating various forms of inflammatory arthritis. Her research interests include precision medicine, genetic epidemiology, respiratory diseases, and health care inequalities for rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune diseases.
