Biographical summary
Karina A. Keogh, M.D., is a consultant pulmonologist who specializes in asthma, pulmonary vasculitis and chronic cough. Her clinical focus also includes pulmonary function testing including cardiopulmonary exercise testing and rhino/laryngoscopy.
In addition to her clinical activities, Dr. Keogh is active in medical education and provides mentorship to students, residents and fellows. She teaches at Mayo Clinic School of Medicine. She is on the Editorial Board for the Chest Pulmonary journal, as Associate Editor for Asthma.
Her research interests are focused on the mechanisms, diagnosis and treatment of asthma and chronic cough. She investigates antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies-associated vasculitis in longitudinal studies, with a particular focus on eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (A rare form of vasculitis associated with asthma).
