Dr. Davis is a clinical rheumatologist with specialty interest in inflammatory arthritis.

His clinical focus includes:

  • Expertise in the diagnosis and management of all forms of inflammatory arthritis, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, axial and peripheral spondyloarthritis, arthritis associated with autoimmune connective tissue diseases, gout, and calcium pyrophosphate deposition disease.
  • Complex evaluation and coordination of care for patients with undiagnosed, undifferentiated, treatment-refractory, or otherwise challenging rheumatic diseases.
  • Endeavoring to identify hope and new treatment opportunities for patients.
  • Collaborating with Mayo and non-Mayo health care professionals to address patient's health concerns in a comprehensive manner.

In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Davis has an active, extramurally funded research program in the field of rheumatoid arthritis.

  • Investigating the role of the human gut microbiome in inflammatory arthritis
  • Discovery of new biomarkers for inflammatory arthritis
