Side Effects

Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Check with your doctor or nurse immediately if any of the following side effects occur:

More common

  1. Bloody eye
  2. redness of the eye

Less common

  1. Blurred vision
  2. change in vision
  3. eye pain
  4. loss of vision
  5. red, sore eyes
  6. seeing floaters, veil or curtain appearing across part of vision
  7. seeing floating dark spots or material before the eyes
  8. tearing

Rare

  1. Eye irritation
  2. seeing light flashes
  3. watering of the eyes

Incidence not known

  1. Chest pain, discomfort, or tightness
  2. fast heartbeat
  3. fever
  4. hives, itching, rash
  5. hoarseness
  6. irritation
  7. joint pain, stiffness, or swelling
  8. nausea
  9. pain or discomfort in the arms, jaw, back, or neck
  10. redness of the skin
  11. stroke
  12. sweating
  13. swelling of the eyelids, face, lips, hands, or feet
  14. trouble breathing
  15. vomiting

Other side effects not listed may also occur in some patients. If you notice any other effects, check with your healthcare professional.
