Side Effects

Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Check with your doctor immediately if any of the following side effects occur:

More common

  1. Chest pain or tightness
  2. confusion
  3. cough
  4. fever or chills
  5. increase in bone pain
  6. irregular heartbeat
  7. nausea or vomiting
  8. nervousness
  9. numbness or tingling in the hands, feet, or lips
  10. sneezing
  11. stomach pain
  12. trouble breathing
  13. weakness or heaviness of the legs

Incidence not known

  1. Agitation
  2. bloody urine
  3. change in consciousness
  4. dark urine
  5. decreased appetite
  6. decreased frequency or amount of urine
  7. depression
  8. diarrhea
  9. fast, shallow breathing
  10. general feeling of discomfort
  11. headache
  12. hostility
  13. increased thirst
  14. irritability
  15. large, hive-like swelling on face, eyelids, lips, tongue, throat, hands, legs, feet, or sex organs
  16. light-colored stools
  17. loss of appetite
  18. loss of consciousness
  19. lower back or side pain
  20. muscle pain, twitching, or cramping
  21. seizures
  22. sleepiness
  23. stomach discomfort
  24. swelling of the face, fingers, or lower legs
  25. unusual drowsiness, dullness, tiredness, weakness, or feeling of sluggishness
  26. upper right abdominal or stomach pain
  27. vomiting
  28. weight gain
  29. yellow eyes and skin
