Side Effects

Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Check with your doctor as soon as possible if any of the following side effects occur:

Rare

  1. Changes in facial skin color
  2. clumsiness or unsteadiness
  3. confusion
  4. convulsions (seizures)
  5. fast or irregular breathing
  6. loss of consciousness
  7. mood or mental changes
  8. muscle cramping
  9. puffiness or swelling of the eyelids or around the eyes
  10. reddening of skin
  11. shortness of breath, troubled breathing, tightness in chest, and/or wheezing
  12. skin blisters
  13. skin rash, hives, and/or itching
  14. slow heartbeat
  15. slurred speech
  16. tremors
  17. trouble in sleeping
  18. uncontrolled jerking movement
  19. unusual tiredness or weakness

Other side effects not listed may also occur in some patients. If you notice any other effects, check with your healthcare professional.
