Perinatal educational opportunities
Perinatal education classes such as fetal monitoring and neonatal resuscitation are available for health care professionals working in obstetrics and neonatal specialties.
Perinatal Staff Education
Mayo Clinic Department of Nursing offers perinatal education classes for nursing staff. The perinatal outreach program has been discontinued, but external participants may enroll in classes for internal Mayo Clinic employees on a space-available basis.
Current course offerings include:
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program
- High-Risk Perinatal Patient Program
- American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. Program

Class sizes are limited, so please register as early as possible and include payment with the registration form. Payment must be received at least 21 days prior to the class. Participants will receive a confirmation letter 14 days prior to the class.
Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment 21 days before the class may be cancelled. Tuition refunds will be issued in case of class cancellation.
