Polycystic kidney disease centers of excellence

Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale/Phoenix, Arizona; Jacksonville, Florida; and Rochester, Minnesota; have been recognized as polycystic kidney disease (PKD) centers of excellence by the PKD Foundation. This honor is given to medical institutions that provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary, innovative and patient-focused care for people with PKD.

Comprehensive Hypertension Center

Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale/Phoenix, Arizona; Jacksonville, Florida; and Rochester, Minnesota, have been certified as Comprehensive Hypertension Centers by the American Heart Association. This recognition reflects our commitment to excellence in the care of patients with complex or hard-to-treat high blood pressure.

Transplant Center

Our nephrology experts work closely with Mayo Clinic's Transplant Center, the largest integrated transplant provider in the United States. Each year, Mayo Clinic surgeons perform more than 1,000 kidney transplants, including living-donor kidney transplants and combined kidney-pancreas transplants. With this experience, our care teams have some of the best outcomes in the nation, including faster access to transplants, strong organ acceptance rates and excellent patient survival.

Comprehensive cancer center

Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center meets the strict standards for a U.S. National Cancer Institute comprehensive cancer center. These standards recognize scientific excellence and a multispecialty approach focused on cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
