Like all our campuses, Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, is designed with visitors in mind, so we've made getting around a priority.
The three main buildings, where most international visitors have their appointments, are connected by enclosed walkways. If you need to be seen in other buildings, they are right across the street. Shuttles run regularly between buildings for added convenience.
If mobility is a concern, complimentary patient and guest escorts can help you get to and from your appointments. Wheelchairs are available free of charge to anyone who needs them.
Some hotels and other lodging options include a shuttle to Mayo Clinic, so you don't necessarily need a car for appointments. However, if you want to explore Jacksonville or other parts of Florida between your appointments, a car is probably your best option. While there are public transportation options, times and routes can be limited.
There are many car rental options, and on-campus parking is available. Limo services, taxis and rideshares also are available.
