Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT) Clinic
At Mayo Clinic, various specialists work together to diagnose and treat people who have hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT). Our HHT Clinic includes specialists in medical genetics; pulmonary medicine and critical care; neurology; neurosurgery; ear, nose and throat (ENT); radiology; and gastroenterology and hepatology.
Mayo Clinic is an HHT Center of Excellence. An HHT Center of Excellence is a medical center that has been designated by the HHT Foundation International as an institution that provides comprehensive care to meet all the medical needs of HHT patients.
In addition, Mayo Clinic has one of the few clinical laboratories in the United States that performs the three most commonly ordered genetic tests for HHT. These tests include molecular analysis of the ENG, ACVRL1 and SMAD4 genes.
