He is triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology. Dr. Munoz also completed a Master of Science in patient-based research and an Investigational Cancer Therapeutics fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston before relocating to Arizona to spearhead the development of Chimeric Antigen Receptors (CAR) T-cells.
