John Lucido, PhD, is a medical physicist in Radiation Oncology, with a focus on x-ray external beam radiation therapy. His clinical and research interests include:
- Creating advanced tools to enhance, streamline, and automate the treatment planning process to ensure that patients receive the highest quality therapy.
- Designing techniques for the delivery of complex special procedures to broaden the scope of therapy available to patients.
- Developing quality assurance procedures to ensure that the delivery of radiation therapy is accurate, effective, and safe.
Dr. Lucido is also involved the education of radiation oncology residents, physics residents, and radiation therapy technologists.
