Dr. Lubrano (di Ciccone) is board-certified in Psychiatry, Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Her clinical interests include mood disorders, anxiety, psycho-oncology, end-of-life care, bereavement, communication skills training, and the psychiatric dimensions of pain, delirium, and palliative care, with a particular focus in oncology. She has published peer-reviewed research on barriers to adequate pain control and opioid use in breast cancer patients, as well as the development and implementation of advanced communication skills training programs in oncology. She brings extensive experience navigating complex hospital ethical dilemmas and serves on the Mayo Clinic Florida Ethics Committee. Dr. Lubrano has dedicated her career to medical education and mentorship at all levels of training, currently serving as Psychiatry Clerkship Director at Mayo Clinic Florida.
