Sara Hassan, M.D., is a pediatric transplant hepatologist and gastroenterologist.

Dr. Hassan provides clinical care for patients and families with acute and chronic liver diseases and liver transplant care.

Areas of clinical expertise include:

  • Diagnosis and management of biliary atresia
  • Genetic and metabolic liver disease
  • Providing comprehensive care for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease
  • Long- term post transplant care

In addition to her clinic activities, Dr. Hassan is active in education and research. Her interests include fatty liver disease, genetic & metabolic liver diseases and Fontan-associated liver disease.
