Sharmila Arjunan, B.D.S.

Dr. Sharmila Arjunan is an American board-certified orthodontist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. She began her dental education and completed her orthodontic residency at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in India. She later earned a Master of Science and a Diploma in Orthodontics from the University of British Columbia in Canada. Dr. Arjunan further advanced her expertise through subspecialty fellowship training in craniofacial and special needs orthodontics at the University of Michigan.

Clinical Focus:

• Comprehensive orthodontic treatment with fixed appliances, clear aligners, and temporary anchorage devices
• Specialized orthodontic care for patients with craniofacial differences, from infancy through adulthood
• Collaborative, interdisciplinary treatment planning with surgeons, pediatric dentists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals
