1. Inherited Muscle Diseases Repository

   Rochester, Minn.

   To establish a repository of DNA samples collected prospectively from patients with inherited myopathies of unknown molecular and/or biochemical defect. To access residual muscle specimens from diagnostic muscle biopsies obtained as part of the routine medical care. The biospecimens will be used to better understanding the underlying molecular defects and mechanisms of muscle diseases.

2. Electrophysiological Biomarkers for Parkinson's Disease

   Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

   This study will determine the validity of predictive and surrogate biomarkers for the detection of Parkinson's disease and Parkinson's disease cognitive decline.

3. A Registry Called Every Child for Collecting Data and Biology Specimens on Younger Patients with Cancer

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this registry called Every Child, is to collect data and biospecimens from multiple body sources for younger patients with cancer over time. Gathering health information over time from younger patients with cancer may help doctors find better methods of treatment and on-going care.

4. Gemini Study to Evaluate the Integration of Cancer Genetic Testing into a Cancer Clinical Practice at Mayo Clinic at Arizona

   Jacksonville, Fla., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

   The purpose of this study is to determine the prevalence of genetic mutations in cancer patients from various ethnic populations seeking care at Mayo Clinic cancer clinics.

5. A Study of Lutetium Lu 177 Dotatate (Lutathera®) in Patients with Inoperable, Progressive Meningioma after External Beam Radiation Therapy

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to estimate the efficacy of LUTATHERA treatment in patients with recurrent grade 1 meningioma as measured by 6-month PFS rate, and to estimate the efficacy of LUTATHERA treatment in patients with recurrent grade 2 or 3 meningioma as measured by 6-month PFS rate.

    

6. Stem Cells from Skin Fibroblasts in Patients with Hereditary Peripheral Neuropathy

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this research is to develop stem cells from cells within patients’ skin in order to better understand peripheral neuropathy and help develop treatments.

7. A Study to Analyze Intracerebral Hemorrhage Hematoma

   Jacksonville, Fla.

   The purpose of this study is to to take the usual waste material from the removal of hematoma and apply an array of -Omics approaches (including for example genomics, transcriptomics, lipidomics, proteomics, and metabolomics) to identify biomarkers that assess prognosis and identify key therapeutic targets.

8. A Study to Develop a Biorepository of Blood Samples from Cancer Patients Participating in the Gemini (IRB 19-006717) Protocol

   Jacksonville, Fla., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

   The purpose of this study is to develop a biorepository of blood samples  from cancer patients participating in the Gemini (IRB 19-006717) protocol. These samples will be used for future biomarker discovery and other translational studies. 

9. A Study to Investigate Biomarkers for Phenotyping of Neurodegenerative Disorders

   Jacksonville, Fla.

   The primary purpose of this study is to create a Mayo Clinic repository for  neurodegenerative disorders such as Parkinson’s disease (PD), Parkinson’s disease dementia and dementia with Lewy bodies (PDD/DLB), multiple system atrophy (MSA), progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), cortico-basal degeneration (CBD), and other even rarer forms of neurodegeneration.

10. A Study to Investigate Mechanisms, Predictors, and Prevention of Persistent Post-Traumatic Headache

    Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

    The purpose of this study is to identify mechanisms and predictors for the persistence of post-traumatic headache and methods to treat post-traumatic headache and prevent its persistence.
