Mayo Clinic Inflammatory Bowel Disease Repository Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz. The purpose of this research study is to collect clinical information and human samples from patients with IBD. The data collected will be used to create an organized, accessible resource of human samples for biological research in IBD. A Study to Assess Intestinal Barrier Function and Permeability in Patients with Functional Dyspepsia Jacksonville, Fla. The purpose of this study is to investigate, using several novel techniques, potential pathophysiologic abnormalities that could lead to the development of symptoms of functional dyspepsia. A Study Of Intratumoral Injection Of Autologous Dendritic Cells After High-Dose Conformal External Beam Radiotherapy In Patients With Unresectable Liver Cancer Rochester, Minn. The primary purpose of the pilot study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of an autologous dendritic cells (DC) vaccine delivered by intra-tumoral injection in patients with primary liver cancer treated with high-dose conformal external beam radiotherapy (EBRT). The primary purpose of the phase II study is to estimate the progression-free survival rate at 2 years post-registration to see if treatment is efficacious compared to historical data. Symptoms During A Gastric Emptying Study Rochester, Minn. To understand the utility of measuring stomach emptying, symptoms during a stomach emptying, and blood markers of body metabolism. A Study to Evaluate the Therapeutic Effectiveness of Rifaximin in Diabetic Gastroparesis Patients Using Bloating as the Primary Endpoint Jacksonville, Fla. The primary purpose of this study is to prospectively assess symptoms of bloating (severity, prevalence) in patients with diabetic gastroparesis. Comparison Of In-Home Versus In-Clinic Administration Of Subcutaneous Nivolumab Through Cancer CARE (Connected Access And Remote Expertise) Beyond Walls (CCBW) Program Jacksonville, Fla. This phase II trial compares the impact of subcutaneous (SC) nivolumab given in an in-home setting to an in-clinic setting on cancer care and quality of life. Currently, most drug-related cancer care is conducted in clinic type centers or hospitals which may isolate patients from family, friends and familiar surroundings for many hours per day. This separation adds to the physical, emotional, social, and financial burden for patients and their families. Traveling to and from medical facilities costs time, money, and effort and can be a disadvantage to patients living in rural areas, those with low incomes or poor access to transport. Studies have shown that cancer patients often feel more comfortable and secure being cared for in their own home environments. SC nivolumab in-home treatment may be safe, tolerable and/or effective when compared to in-clinic treatment and may reduce the burden of cancer and improve the quality of life in cancer patients. Evaluating Markers Which Might Be A Predictor Of Pancreatic Cancer Or Precancer By Analyzing The Secretions (Fluid) From A Pancreatic Cyst Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to evaluate molecular markers which might be a predictor of pancreatic cancer or precancer by analyzing the secretions (fluid) from a pancreatic cyst, pancreas fluid and tissue from a resected pancreatic cyst. A Study To Develop A Biorepository Of Blood Samples From Cancer Patients Participating In The Gemini (IRB 19-006717) Protocol Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz., Jacksonville, Fla. The purpose of this study is to develop a biorepository of blood samples from cancer patients participating in the Gemini (IRB 19-006717) protocol. These samples will be used for future biomarker discovery and other translational studies. A Study to Evaluate the Prevalence and Impact of Eating Disorders Among Patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease Jacksonville, Fla. The purpose of this study is to assess the prevalence of eating disorders; specifically, Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) among adult patients in the IBD clinic and compare to the patient population seen in the primary care clinics at Mayo Clinic Florida. Influence of Diet on Tissue and Body Fluids in Health and Disease Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz. This study aims to compare the fatty acid composition of small sample of fat (visceral and subcutaneous) removed at the time of surgery to operative outcomes and the composition calculated from the person’s dietary history and preoperative imaging with MRI/CT scans. This study will also compare the composition of pancreatic fluid collected to that of a sample of fat removed at the time of surgery to drain the collection. Furthermore, we will study the fatty acid composition of drain fluid placed at the time of surgery to that of their fat samples. Digestive Diseases clinical-trials
