In Vivo Assessment of Glutamine Utilization by Bone Marrow Plasma Cells Rochester, Minn. This pilot study will first establish the feasibility of an in vivo methodology of assessing the utilization of glutamine into the TCA cycle of normal bone marrow plasma cells from healthy subjects while comparing it to an ex vivo approach A Study to Evaluate Performance of Coagulation Laboratory Testing in Children and Young Adults Rochester, Minn. The primary purpose of this study is to generate pediatric-specific reference ranges that take into account patient sex, age, corrected gestational age, ethnicity, etc., and laboratory variables for various coagulation studies. Cutaneous Lymphoma Database Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz. The purpose of this study is to create a long-term, prospective database of cutaneous lymphoma that will lead to a better understanding of the biological behavior of cutaneous lymphomas as well as the effectiveness of interventions. A Study to Evaluate Remote Monitoring in Cancer Care Rochester, Minn. The objectives of this study are to establish the validity for the use of wearable device for continuous, remote monitoring of physiologic parameters, to establish the validity for the use of wearable device for continuous, remote monitoring of physiologic parameters, and to develop patient-specific algorithms to predict the trajectory of CRS and or neurotoxicity and time to escalation of medical intervention is needed. A Study of Disulfiram and Chemotherapy in Pancreas Cancer Patients Rochester, Minn. This partially randomized phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of disulfiram when given together with gemcitabine hydrochloride in treating patients with a solid tumor that cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable) or pancreatic cancer that has spread to other places in the body (metastatic) and to compare whether disulfiram and gemcitabine hydrochloride may reduce tumor induced muscle loss. Weight loss occurs in pancreatic cancer patients and is common in a multitude of other cancers. Patients with metastatic cancer and weight loss sometimes are not able to receive treatment due to physical weakness or debility. Disulfiram is a potential inhibitor of muscle degradation and may reduce tumor induced muscle wasting. Disulfiram may also help gemcitabine hydrochloride work better by making tumor cells more sensitive to the drug. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as gemcitabine hydrochloride, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. It is not yet know whether giving gemcitabine hydrochloride with or without disulfiram is a better treatment for unresectable solid tumors or metastatic pancreatic cancer. A Study to Evaluate Gilteritinib vs. Midostaurin in FLT3 Mutated Acute Myeloid Leukemia Jacksonville, Fla., Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness of gilteritinib to midostaurin in patients receiving standard combination chemotherapy for FLT3 AML. A Study to Collect Data and Blood Samples from Mayo Patients Who Have or are Suspected of Having Amyloidosis, or Their Family Members, for Future Research Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to create a data collection and bioregistry of blood samples from Mayo Clinic patients with amyloidosis, suspected amyloidosis, and family members of patients with amyloidosis. This information will be available for future research about this spectrum of diseases. Study of Biomarker-Based Treatment of Acute Myeloid Leukemia Jacksonville, Fla., Rochester, Minn., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz. This screening and multi-sub-study Phase 1b/2 trial will establish a method for genomic screening followed by assigning and accruing simultaneously to a multi-study "Master Protocol (BAML-16-001-M1)." The specific subtype of acute myeloid leukemia will determine which sub-study, within this protocol, a participant will be assigned to evaluate investigational therapies or combinations with the ultimate goal of advancing new targeted therapies for approval. The study also includes a marker negative sub-study which will include all screened patients not eligible for any of the biomarker-driven sub-studies. Dose-Escalation Study of cevostamab (BFCR4350A) in Participants With Relapsed or Refractory Multiple Myeloma (R/R MM) Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz. This is a phase I, multicenter, open-label, dose-escalation study of cevostamab (BFCR4350A) administered as a single agent by IV infusion to participants with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (R/R MM). A Study of WVT078 in Patients With Multiple Myeloma Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to establish a safe and tolerated dose of single agent WVT078 in patients with relapsed and/or refractory Multiple Myeloma (MM).
