Biographical summary
Dr. Nasr is a pathologist specialized in the diagnosis of kidney diseases. His research and clinical interests include the following:
- Renal lesions associated with monoclonal gammopathy of renal significance (MGRS) and hematologic malignancy, including proliferative glomerulonephritis with monoclonal immunoglobulin deposits (PGNMID), immunoglobulin-related amyloidosis, immunotactoid glomerulopathy, monoclonal immunoglobulin deposition disease, crystalglobulin-induced nephropathy, myeloproliferative neoplasm-related glomerulopathy, and myeloma cast nephropathy.
- Glomerular diseases with organized deposits, including amyloidosis, fibrillary glomerulonephritis and immunotactoid glomerulopathy.
- Adult bacterial infection-associated glomerulonephritis
- Application of proteomics in the diagnosis of kidney diseases, including amyloidosis, light chain deposition disease, fibrillary glomerulonephritis, and paraneoplastic cast nephropathy.
