Lisa J. Thoe, M.S., R.N., is a senior nurse administrator with Mayo Clinic International, where she provides strategic leadership and advisory roles across Mayo Clinic’s International Division. Ms. Thoe provides nursing leadership in partnership with on-site nursing and operational leaders at Mayo Clinic Healthcare, London. Ms. Thoe is actively involved in Mayo Clinic’s Global Consulting, providing insight and guidance into nursing and healthcare leadership and governance, recruitment, staffing, nursing education and nursing clinical practice to a variety of clients across the globe.
Ms. Thoe holds the academic rank of instructor in nursing with Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science and has over 40 years of healthcare experience. She has worked in a variety of direct care and nursing leadership roles across the continuum of care. She is board certified as a nurse executive through the American Nurses Credentialing Center, certified as a global nurse consultant, Silver Quality certified through Mayo Clinic’s Quality Academy, and a recipient of the Mayo Clinic Excellence in Leadership and Excellence in Teamwork award. Ms. Thoe holds a master's degree in nursing leadership and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Phoenix.
