Biographical summary
Christine Ragay-Cathers, D.O., FAAFP, received her medical degree from Des Moines University. She then completed her Family Medicine residency at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix where she also served as Chief Resident. Afterwards, she served in the Air Force as a family physician for four years. Prior to joining Mayo Clinic, Dr. Ragay-Cathers has been involved with Graduate Medical Education serving in various leadership roles teaching Family Medicine residents and medical students as well as administratively as medical director of the respective clinics. 
Dr. Ragay-Cathers enjoys teaching and advocating for her patients, taking care of families and seeing all ages. She is board-certified and interested in all aspects of family medicine such as chronic disease, preventive medicine, and outpatient procedures. She loves partnering with her patients and helping them achieve their best health.
Her personal interests include spending time with her family and gardening.
