Biographical summary
Jyoti Patel, M.D., is a triple board-certified physician in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Integrative Medicine. She completed her fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American Academy of Pediatrics, as well as a Qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher through UC San Diego and a Chopra Certified Ayurvedic Lifestyle Practitioner.
Prior to joining Mayo Clinic, Dr. Patel led a successful private Med-Peds practice for over 20 years, integrating evidence-based medicine with patient-centered, holistic care. Committed to community wellness, she established a 2.5-acre community garden and remains dedicated to health education and preventive care beyond clinical practice. She was named TOP DOC in Phoenix Magazine for multiple years, Internist of the Year 2011 by the local American College of Physicians Chapter and Healthcare Provider of the Year 2017 by her local community in Fountain Hills, AZ.
