Brent P. Little M.D., is a cardiothoracic radiologist specializing in imaging of the chest and heart. He has research and clinical interests in infectious diseases (including COVID-19), interstitial lung disease, lung cancer screening, among many other interests. His publications have been featured in leading radiology and other clinical journals. Dr. Little is a section editor for the Journal of Thoracic Imaging, and is an active reviewer for several journals, including Radiology, Journal of Thoracic Imaging, and AJR, and has been recognized with several Editor Recognition awards.

Dr. Little has a strong interest in medical education and has served in various administrative roles in education, including as an Assistant and Associate Radiology Residency Program Director at previous institutions. He has been recognized for his teaching efforts 3 times with Teacher of the Year awards at previous institutions and a Distinguished Lecturer of the Year Award in the Department of Radiology at Mayo. He is a regular speaker at national meetings and is active in many national radiology organizations. Among other service roles, he currently serves on the American College of Radiology Appropriateness Criteria Thoracic committee, and on the American Board of Radiology thoracic radiology item writing committee.
