Biographical summary
Li Li, M.D., Ph.D., is a board-certified pathologist (Anatomic & Clinic Pathology) with expertise in renal pathology.
Dr. Li attended medical school at Xiangya Medical School of Central South University in China, and graduate school in Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine. She obtained her Pathology residency training at the University of Virginia and Drexel University College of Medicine, and subspecialty training in Renal/Genitourinary (GU) pathology at Mount Sinai hospital of Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York.
Dr. Li's clinical practice focuses on diagnosis of kidney diseases (native and transplant), and benign and malignant conditions of the GU tract (kidney, bladder, prostate, adrenal, testis, ureter, urethra, and penis).
Her research interests include: translational and clinicopathologic studies involving both native and transplant kidney biopsies and GU tract tumors with particular interests in kidney, prostate and adrenal glands.
