Biographical summary
Dr. Andre Gosling is originally from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, where he attended medical school. He completed his anesthesiology residency and served as chief resident at Tufts Medical Center, followed by fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School and Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology at Duke University Hospital. Following fellowship training, Dr. Gosling joined the faculty at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he later served as Director of Medical Student Education and Assistant Director of the Anesthesiology Residency Program. His clinical and research interests focus on perioperative outcomes in patients undergoing cardiac surgery, with particular emphasis on vasoplegia and acute kidney injury.
