Daniel K. Ebner, M.D., M.P.H.

Daniel K. Ebner, M.D., M.P.H., is a radiation oncologist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. His clinical interests include the care of patients with head and neck, genitourinary, and sarcomatous cancers, with an emphasis on aligning radiation treatment with each patient’s diagnosis, anatomy and goals of care.

Dr. Ebner’s academic work focuses on clinical trials and translational development of new cancer treatments, including particle therapy and other advanced radiation approaches. He also studies the responsible development and deployment of artificial intelligence in clinical care. With training in medicine, public health and global health, Dr. Ebner works to connect patient care with research that can improve cancer treatment, clarify treatment decisions and expand access to effective new therapies.
