Biographical summary
Claudia Chou, M.D., is a palliative medicine physician who sees hospitalized patients in Rochester and in the outpatient palliative care clinic. She completed residency in neurology and fellowships in movement disorders and hospice and palliative medicine.
Dr. Chou provides care for individuals with a wide range of serious neurologic conditions, with particular expertise in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and atypical parkinsonian disorders. Her clinical interests include developing models of palliative care delivery in neurology and improving education about palliative care for patients with neurologic diseases. She is also dedicated to medical education and serves as associate program director for the hospice and palliative medicine fellowship.
