Dino Al-Shakarchi, M.B.B.S.

Nader James (Dino) Al-Shakarchi, M.B.B.S., is an Internal Medicine Physician at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He graduated with distinction from University College London Medical School in the United Kingdom (2016-2022) and subsequently completed a stipendiary Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Echocardiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester (2022-2023). He then completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester (2023-2026) receiving several awards for his clinical and academic excellence such as the Dr. Booker Granger Service Excellence Award and the Senior Resident Excellence in Teaching Award.

Dr. Al-Shakarchi has contributed to over 30 peer-reviewed articles and abstracts. His work has been cited in national guidelines and focuses on the intersections of hematologic disorders, solid tumor malignancies, and cardiovascular disease, in particular amyloidosis and carcinoid heart disease. He also has specific interests in AI, innovation, and medical education and was selected for the inaugural cohort of the Mayo Clinic Innovation & Entrepreneurship Academy (2025-2026).
