Sanjay Prasad, MD , FRCP

    Consultant Cardiologist

“Early on when I was at school, I was inspired by family members who were doctors. I knew that I wanted to do something that involved working with people. I enjoyed how the body works.

“The thing that Mayo brings to the table is not just world-class health care, but granular detail. You're working with some of the best people in the world. What I know is that I can pick up the phone, ring up my counterpart in the US and say, "What do you think? How do we manage this patient? I'd be grateful for your opinion," and that opportunity to bounce things back, in a friendly, relaxed, easy manner, knowing that it can be done, at any time of day or over the weekend.”
