Naomi Joseph

Naomi is a highly experienced Specialist Dietitian who qualified from King's College London with a BSc (Hons) in Human Nutrition and Dietetics in 2001. She has over 20 years of experience working across the NHS, the food industry, and private practice, providing evidence-based nutritional care for patients with a wide range of medical conditions.

Naomi is the Team Lead Clinical Specialist Dietitian at Barnet Hospital, where she specialises in the nutritional management of gastrointestinal conditions, including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), coeliac disease, and other digestive disorders. She has extensive experience supporting patients undergoing gastrointestinal surgery and managing complex nutritional needs, including intestinal failure.

As a member of the Trust's Nutrition Team, Naomi provides specialist advice on the nutritional management of patients with complex medical conditions. She also contributes to the Trust's Nutrition Steering Committee, supporting clinical audit, research, and the continuous development of evidence-based nutritional care.

Naomi believes in providing personalised, practical dietary advice that empowers patients to manage their condition with confidence. She works closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop tailored nutrition plans that support symptom management, optimise nutritional status, and improve overall health and quality of life.
