    Dr Akeel Alisa was awarded his medical degree from the University of Cambridge in 1993. Since 2013, he serves as a Consultant Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist at the Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust. His postgraduate training included prestigious rotations through leading London teaching hospitals where he gained extensive expertise in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Endoscopy and General Medicine. He became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 1998 and later elected as a Fellow (FRCP). In 2012, he was awarded his Doctorate in Medicine (MD Res) from UCL, in recognition of his research contributions.

    Dr Alisa held leadership and training posts in Gastroenterology & Endoscopy within his Trust. He maintains outstanding performance indicators as documented in the National Endoscopy Database. He prioritizes safe, efficient and patient-comfort-focused care in endoscopic procedures as well as adopting a holistic, patient-centered approach.

    Dr Alisa is a highly experienced Gastroenterologist based in London. With over 20 years of experience in the field, Dr Alisa has helped countless patients with a wide range of digestive issues from simple to challenging presentations.
