1. A Study to Collect Thoracic Specimens to Develop a Thoracic Specimen Registry

   Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

   The primary objective of this proposal is to develop a Thoracic Specimen Registry at Mayo Clinic. The purpose of the registry will be to support ongoing research in the etiology, early diagnosis, clinical management, and prognosis of lung cancer and other cancers and diseases of the thorax by developing a complete repository of specimens from patients with thoracic disease including but not limited to suspected lung cancer, mediastinal and pleural tumors and from patients at a very high risk of developing other thoracic cancers or other thoracic diseases. 

2. Sapanisertib in Treating Patients With Metastatic or Refractory Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor That Cannot Be Removed by Surgery

   Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz., Rochester, Minn.

   This phase II trial studies how well sapanisertib works in treating patients with pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor that has spread to other places in the body, does not respond to treatment, or cannot be surgically removed. Drugs such as sapanisertib may stop the growth or shrink tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth

3. A Clinical Use Application for the Humanitarian Use Device Exemption Use Protocol of TheraSphere for Treatment of Unresectable Primary or Secondary Liver Neoplasia

   Eau Claire, Wis.

   This protocol allows multiple treatments with TheraSphere® that may be delivered on an outpatient basis. Patients may receive a single dose to a liver lobe or segmental treatment delivered as a sequence of treatments approximately 30-90 days apart. The principal clinician, working with a multidisciplinary team, will develop a specific treatment plan for each patient, based upon the presenting condition of the patient, the vascular anatomy and the desired goal of treatment.

4. Prospective Use of Philips iSuite for Interventional Procedures

   Rochester, Minn.

   This research study is being done to look at new MRI imaging guidance software, Philips Interventional iSuite software, to see if using will improve the physician's ability to quickly place and guide needle tip position for biopsies and ablations.

5. A Study to Evaluate Combination Therapy to Treat Newly-diagnosed Diffuse Anaplastic Wilms Tumors and Relapsed Favorable Histology Wilms Tumors A Study of Combination Chemotherapy for Patients With Newly Diagnosed DAWT and Relapsed FHWT

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to evaluate how well combination chemotherapy works in treating patients with newly diagnosed stage II-IV diffuse anaplastic Wilms tumors (DAWT) or favorable histology Wilms tumors (FHWT) that have come back (relapsed). Drugs used in chemotherapy regimens such as UH-3 (vincristine, doxorubicin, cyclophosphamide, carboplatin, etoposide, and irinotecan) and ICE/Cyclo/Topo (ifosfamide, carboplatin, etoposide, cyclophosphamide, and topotecan) work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading.

   This trial may help doctors find out what effects, good and/or bad, regimen UH-3 has on patients with newly diagnosed DAWT and standard risk relapsed FHWT (those treated with only 2 drugs for the initial WT) and regimen ICE/Cyclo/Topo has on patients with high and very high risk relapsed FHWT (those treated with 3 or more drugs for the initial WT).

6. A Study to Evaluate Outpatient Blinatumomab in Subjects with Minimal Residual Disease (MRD) of B-precursor Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)

   Jacksonville, Fla.

   The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and feasibility of complete outpatient blinatumomab administration for subjects with minimal residual disease (MRD) of B-precursor Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).

    

    

7. A Study of a New Way to Treat Children and Young Adults With a Brain Tumor Called NGGCT

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to monitor outcome to ensure that children and young adults with localized central nervous system (CNS) non-germinomatous germ cell tumors (NGGCT) treated with Induction chemotherapy followed by response evaluation and whole ventricular + spinal canal irradiation (WVSCI) will maintain the excellent 2-year progression free survival (PFS) rate as compared to ACNS0122. Also, to improve disease control by decreasing the number of spinal relapses for patients who achieve a complete response (CR) or partial response (PR) and receive WVSCI as compared to whole ventricular radiation on ACNS1123.

8. A Study to Provide Access to CTL019 Out of Specification Managed Access Program (MAP) for ALL or DLBCL Patients

   Jacksonville, Fla., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

   The purpose of this study is to provide access to CTL019 through Managed Access Program (MAP) for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) or diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) patients with out of specification leukapheresis product and/or manufactured tisagenlecleucel out of specification for commercial release.

9. Long-Term Follow-Up Of Patients Who Have Participated In Children's Oncology Group Studies

   Rochester, Minn.

   This clinical trial is studying long-term follow-up in patients who are or have participated in Children's Oncology Group studies. Developing a way to track patients enrolled in Children's Oncology Group studies will help doctors gather long-term follow-up information and may help the study of cancer in the future.

10. Hypo-fractionated Radiation Therapy With Or Without Androgen Suppression For Intermediate Risk Prostate Cancer

    The purpose of this study is to compare the effects, good and/or bad of two treatment methods on subjects and their cancer.
    
    Proton beam radiation therapy is one of the treatments for men with prostate cancer who have localized disease. The benefit of the combination with androgen suppression is not completely understood. This study will compare the use of hypofraction proton therapy (28 treatments) alone to proton therapy with androgen suppression therapy.
