Dr. Smith attended medical school at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. He completed anesthesia residency at Columbia University in New York, NY. He then went on to complete fellowship training in intensive care medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.
Dr. Smith's clinical practice focuses on the treatment of patients as part of the Multispecialty Division of Anesthesia. He also practices in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit and has a special interest in circulatory mechanical support.
