Dr. Lipps attended medical school at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her training in internal medicine at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin, and subspecialty training in cardiovascular medicine, advanced echocardiography, and critical care medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
