Kambiz Kalantari, M.D.

Kambiz Kalantari, M.D., M.S., is a consultant in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension, Department of Internal Medicine, at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and an assistant professor of medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. Board-certified in internal medicine and nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Kalantari provides expert care for people with kidney and blood pressure disorders in Rochester, Minnesota, and surrounding areas. His primary clinical interest is in electrolytes and acid-base disorders, with additional expertise in hypertension, glomerular diseases, and chronic kidney disease.

At Mayo Clinic, Dr. Kalantari's work integrates specialty care, education, research, and quality improvement. He has led nephrology fellowship training and developed innovative educational programs focused on clinical reasoning and critical care nephrology.
