Paschalis Vergidis, M.D., is an Infectious Diseases specialist. His clinical focus includes:
- Expertise in the management of fungal infections such as candidiasis, aspergillosis and histoplasmosis.
- Providing care to patients with HIV infection, hematologic malignancies, bone marrow and solid organ transplant recipients and other patients with weakened immune system.
In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Vergidis is active in research. His work is focused on describing the epidemiology and outcomes of invasive fungal infections, evaluating novel diagnostic methods and participating in clinical trials on novel antifungal agents.
