Aoife M. Egan, M.B., B.Ch., Ph.D., is an endocrinologist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Her clinical focus is on the management of obesity and diabetes. She has a particular interest in obesity and diabetes before, during and after pregnancy. She also has an interest in the use of diabetes technologies in clinical care.

Her research investigates the pathophysiology of type 2 diabetes in women with a focus on the role of pregnancy and gestational diabetes mellitus.
