Biographical summary
Joselle Cook, M.B.B.S., assistant professor of medicine, obtained her medical degree from the University of the West Indies. She then pursued a fellowship in hematology/oncology and a subspecialty fellowship in myeloma, amyloid and dysproteinemia at Mayo Clinic, where she also received training oncolytic virotherapy. She is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology, and has a bronze level certification from the Mayo Clinic Quality Academy.
Dr. Cook has received several honors and awards for her academic excellence, research achievements, and humanism in medicine, including the ASH Research Training Award for Fellows, the William H. J. Summerskill Award, and the Tow Tan Humanism in Medicine Award. She is a member of various professional societies and serves as a topic editor, review editor, and peer reviewer for several journals. She has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles, letters, and abstracts with a focus on multiple myeloma, amyloidosis, and oncolytic virotherapy.
