Mayo Clinic critical Care clinician-researchers and scientists conduct studies to decrease complications and improve outcomes for people who are critically ill. They continually research new diagnostic and treatment options for people with conditions associated with critical illnesses and trauma.
Research includes perioperative critical care; trauma; transfusions; modeling of critical care syndromes, life support interventions and patient-important outcomes; and the science of health care delivery and informatics.
