Side Effects

Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Check with your doctor immediately if any of the following side effects occur:

More common

  1. Blue-yellow color blindness
  2. blurred vision
  3. decreased vision or other vision changes
  4. eye pain
  5. increase in seizures
  6. loss of memory
  7. problems with memory

Less common or rare

  1. Uncontrolled rolling eye movements

Get emergency help immediately if any of the following symptoms of overdose occur:

  1. Change in or loss of consciousness

Some side effects may occur that usually do not need medical attention. These side effects may go away during treatment as your body adjusts to the medicine. Also, your health care professional may be able to tell you about ways to prevent or reduce some of these side effects. Check with your health care professional if any of the following side effects continue or are bothersome or if you have any questions about them:

More common

  1. Agitation
  2. burning, tingling, or prickly sensations
  3. clumsiness or unsteadiness
  4. confusion
  5. constipation
  6. diarrhea
  7. dizziness
  8. double vision or seeing double
  9. increased movement
  10. joint pain
  11. mental depression
  12. sleepiness or unusual drowsiness
  13. stomach pain
  14. trembling
  15. tremor
  16. trouble sitting still

Less common

  1. Aggression
  2. headache
  3. increased saliva
  4. muscle weakness
  5. nausea
  6. poor concentration
  7. speech disorder
  8. trouble sleeping
  9. unusual thoughts
  10. vomiting
  11. weight gain
