If your or your child's eye infection does not improve within a few days, or if it becomes worse, check with your doctor.

This medicine may cause serious allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, which can be life-threatening and require immediate medical attention. Call your doctor right away if you have a rash, itching, trouble breathing, trouble swallowing, or any swelling of your hands, face, or mouth while you are using this medicine.

Check with your doctor right away if you have blurred or decreased vision, pooling of whitish fluid visible on the colored part of the eye, seeing floating spots before the eyes, or swelling of the eye. These may be symptoms of an eye problem called toxic anterior segment syndrome (TASS).

Do not wear contact lenses while you are using this medicine to avoid further eye irritation.
