Biographical summary
Ashley grew up in rural Nebraska. She received her undergraduate degree in psychobiology from the University of Nebraska-Kearney. She received her medical degree from Des Moines University. She completed her dual residency in Family Medicine and Psychiatry from the University Of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA. After residency, Ashley moved to her home town of North Platte, NE
where she did Women's Health, Primary Care and Psychiatry for the Veterans Health Administration from 2017-2021, during this time she also continued her interests in betterment of patient healthcare by completing a fellowship in Quality Improvement.
Ashley happily joined Mayo Clinic Family Medicine and Psychiatry as a dual appointment in 2021. She is currently practicing at the Mayo Thunderbird location. She is double board certified in Family
Medicine and Psychiatry. She provides the full range of primary care for patients of all ages and enjoys getting to know the person as a “whole” to better understand and treat them.
